Portable
GC PID, Micro Gas Chromatograph
with Photoionization Detector Volatile Organic Compound Analysis for Air, Water and Soil Samples
The portable chromatograph can detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in air, water, and soil, delivering lab-quality results in less than 10 minutes. It is the only portable gas chromatograph that weighs less than 5lbs (2.2kgs).
Overview
The portable GC will detect chemicals as volatile as vinyl chloride in addition to semi-volatile organic compounds such as naphthalene. It can detect VOCs at sub-part-per-billion levels or at high part-per-million levels depending on its configuration.
Protable GC operators use it to determine trace amounts of suspected chemical contaminants without waiting for results from an offsite lab. Within ten minutes you’ll have an answer in the field and you’ll know how your cleanup is progressing. The protable GC can help you correct the job and fix it on the spot!
How to Use

With A Computer
You can initiate an analysis on the FROG portable GC using a computer. Attaching the to a computer allows data to be studied in real-time with the Ellvin™ software.

on Its Own
You can use the portable GC on its own and start an analysis by pressing the toggle switch on the side.

Calibrate It
You can calibrate the to detect a specific chemical and determine how much of that chemical is present.
Where to Use

In The Field
The Portable GC is rugged enough to be used at the job site while attached to a computer or stand alone with results appearing on the display.

In A Laboratory
Use the Portable GC to save bench space and get results faster with shorter cleanup time. Save your big mass spec from wicked high samples too.

At Remediation Sites
The Portable GC can also be used to monitor your progress at remediation sites with quick, lab-quality results.

Where to Use

Air
The portable gas chromatograph can detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in air, delivering lab-quality results in less than 10 minutes.

Water
The portable GC can detect volatile organic compounds in water as well. Water samples can be run onsite to reduce shipping and laboratory costs.

Soil
The can also analyze soil samples onsite, detecting volatile organic compounds in soils down to part-per-billion level concentrations.
